For universities & colleges

Accreditation consulting for universities

Self-study writing, site visit preparation, and recovery work for institutions navigating SACSCOC, HLC, Middle States, WASC, NWCCU, CAEP, and AAQEP. Practical, evidence-based partnership from Dr. Bogunovich — built around how reviewers actually read your work.

How an engagement runs

1. Readiness & gap analysis

We map your current evidence against the standards, identify the gaps that actually matter to reviewers, and build a realistic timeline backwards from your site visit.

2. Self-study writing

Dr. Bogunovich works alongside your committees to draft narratives that connect evidence to standards in language reviewers recognize — not compliance theater.

3. Mock site visit

A full mock visit with reviewer-style interviews, evidence room walkthroughs, and a written report so your team is ready for the questions that actually get asked.

4. Site visit support

On-call support during the visit itself, plus help drafting responses to recommendations and any post-visit reports.

Why this work is different here

Most universities don't fail accreditation because their work is weak — they get into trouble because their narrative doesn't show reviewers the work they've actually done. Beyond Compliance is built around that gap: turning real institutional effort into evidence reviewers can follow.

Dr. Bogunovich has led accreditation processes from inside the institution, served as a reviewer, and consulted with programs across the country. That three-sided view shapes every engagement — you get an advisor who can write the self-study, anticipate the review, and coach your team through the visit.

Common questions

How early should we start?

Most regional accreditors expect a meaningful self-study process to begin 18–24 months before the site visit. CAEP and AAQEP typically need 12–18 months.

Can you help if we're already in a sanction?

Yes. Responding to monitoring reports, focused visits, and probation is a common engagement — and uses many of the same practices as a standard self-study.

Do you work with both institutional and program accreditation?

Yes — both. Institutional cycles (SACSCOC, HLC, Middle States, WASC, NWCCU) and educator preparation cycles (CAEP, AAQEP, CTC, TEA).

Have an accreditation cycle on the horizon?

Tell Dr. Bogunovich where you are in the process — readiness, self-study, or recovery — and she'll outline what a partnership could look like for your institution.
